Where Is The Application Of Electroplating Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate

Several chemical analyses require Electroplating Grade Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate.

Used in the manufacture of other copper salts such as cuprous chloride, copper chloride, copper pyrophosphate, cuprous oxide, copper acetate, copper carbonate, etc. Dyestuffs and pigment industries are used to manufacture copper-containing monoazo dyes such as reactive brilliant blue and reactive violet.

Analysis reagent

Several chemical analyses require Electroplating Grade Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate. It is used to test reducing sugar in Fehling's reagent and Ban's reagent. In the reaction, the divalent copper ions are reduced to monovalent insoluble red precipitated cuprous oxide. Electroplating grade copper sulfate pentahydrate can also be used in the biuret reagent to detect protein.

Electroplating grade copper sulfate pentahydrate can be used to detect anemia. Drop the blood sample into the electroplating grade copper sulfate pentahydrate solution. If the blood sample contains enough hemoglobin, the blood sample will sink quickly; if the hemoglobin content is not enough, the blood sample will be suspended in the solution.

In the flame reaction, electroplating grade copper sulfate pentahydrate is blue-green, much bluer than the color of barium ion.
 synthesis

Electroplating grade copper sulfate pentahydrate can be used for synthesis. Anhydrous salt is used to catalyze the conversion of acetal reaction. The anhydrous salt reacts with potassium permanganate to form an oxidant, which is used for the conversion of primary alcohols. Industrially used as a catalyst for the synthesis of perfume and dye intermediates, and as a polymerization inhibitor for methyl methacrylate.
