YouTube Vanced was a highly popular modded YouTube that gave users ad-free playback, background play, and a better dark mode. Due to legal implications, the project was shut down, and official downloads are now no longer available. Several third-party sites promise to provide YouTube Vanced APKs, but downloading from unofficial sites may expose your device to malware, data theft, or other security threats. A more secure and stable substitute is ReVanced, an open-source follow-up with identical features and regular updates. Installation of ReVanced involves downloading ReVanced Manager from its official GitHub repository, using it to patch a supported YouTube APK, and installing it on your device. In case you wish to sign in using your Google account, Vanced MicroG will also be required. Always make sure you download from reputable sources so that your device remains secure and updated.
